‘The Essence of Mohanji’ opens with vibrant Bergamot from Calabria—known as “green gold” for its delicate floral citrus note, unique to the region.
Tuscan Orris, requiring years to cultivate, brings an ethereal powdery scent once prized in Ancient Greece.
At the heart is Jasmine de Grasse, the “King” of florals—more valuable than pure gold, over a million hand-picked blooms are needed to produce a single kilo of oil.
At the soul of the composition is the highest grade of natural Sandalwood. Sustainably grown by farmers who may never see the fruits of their care, it was Mohanji’s first olfactive memory and remains the scent most closely associated with him.
Used in temples across Asia for millennia, sandalwood’s creamy warmth offers a sense of comfort—like a cashmere blanket, or the presence of divine love.
